Possibly visualy confused with Perreniopra fraxinea.

 

Especially when aged, and as big as the one below.

Can become covered in algae when old, similarly to Perreniopora.

 

White flesh.

Very shallow pore layer 3-15mm

White spores.

 

Saprophytic on dysfunctional wood, particularly Beech.

No orange tube layer & the pores are quite different Will.

Or are you refering to Psuedo looking a bit like Rigi rather than Perrenioporia?
