hi guys, i would love to make a log cabin for my yard. i know the theory is pretty simple, get some logs, cut the ends so they fit in nice and tight and stick them one on top of the other. simples!well if you know how that is. is there any of you guys out there with experience in doing this, would want to do it for me, or know of any courses going. i would be more than willing to come and see you do it if it is your job already and learn on site. :001_cool:

that was fantastic, thanks for that, i now sit here in my modern home dreaming of the wilderness and an axe. i used to live in an old shack in a field with just a log burner in it for nearly 5 years, it was bliss, no nieghbours, no hassle i miss it so much, but it was freezing as it wasnt insulated in any way. oh for a plot of land
