Mebor Mills, any good

Hi All

 

Since my last post about a Forestor mill, with only 1 reply I'm guessing not that common over here.

 

Have any of you, used a Mebor or know much about them, thinking of going static Mill for bigger logs I have more off.

 

My Serra Alpina my be up for sale if anyone is interested

 

Any thoughts as always would be much apprecated

The chap I referred to with the Mebor locally is Willie Dobie at Abbey Timber in Abbey St Bathans. He's a great chap and will be more than happy to chat to you about it. I do believe that he went to the factory in Slovenia as well.

I know of 3 big Mebors working fairly locally. Big, tough saws with pretty good support from what I hear.

Ive just watched it on youtube, a very capable setup and it was recommended by a friend thats also installed one down south.

 

There dose not seem to be much hope for the forestor sawmills as they haven't responded to my emails and my saw doctor has described their build as 'soft' as well as software issues with the older mills

 

mebor looks like a serious contender
