steve you have the similar patience to me, you would need a clay pigeon trap attachment to keep up with your dozens of bowls a minute you would try and churn out lolwoodturning saved my dadslife as far as i am concerned, he was stressed out and was suffering from depression, friend gave him one that was getting thrown out, he was the ,most impatient person on the planet, he would just lock himself in the garage and not come out for hours, it gave him a hobby and something to channel his energy into, woodturning has no shortcuts, if you take a shortcut in life it usually bites you on the bum later on, so if you try and do it quickly and cut corners then your stuff ends up crap, so you have to start again. a bit like fly fishing. i tried flyfishing and it taught me to have more patience and enjoy what is around me. so any of you stressed out guys get yourself a shed and a laith and go for it..

After using Davids lathe it is very good as you can rotate the head as well it needs a few design changes which are easy, Steve you can always try out David's one and see what you think.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
