4 Barrel Carb?

Never had a Holley or Offenhauser manifold on any V8 but what did make the biggest difference was fitting Lumenition optronic ignition to them. Even with twin points the lobes are so small setting by dwell meter was the only way to get it right untill you throw them away.

I've even fitted Boyer contactless to my old,old Stewart Turner P66 engine and it runs like a speedboat!

Nice one Bob! I got number one, what does pcv mean? I assumed it was vacuum secondary but wasn't too sure. Will find a valve and plug that into the rear of the manifold too, but not too sure if it should have a nrv!

Old fashioned Mallory dizzy with twin point set up and high output coil.

Pete the pcv port on the carb is for sucking fumes out of the engine, needs to be piped up to the rocker covers. Nothing on the carb gets piped to the inlet manifold.

Hmm....both rockers had a tube up to the 'funnel' fitted on top of the carb, below the air cleaner. You say I got to modify these to go in to tube No 1 in your diagram?

Got company this weekend so will spanner about on Monday.
