hi

I have bought some ventilated barrow bags to store / season the awkward logs that are tricky to stack

what would be the best way to season the logs ?

leave outside with the lid / flap tied over and sat up on a pallet

leave outside as above but with a sheet of tin on the top

stored in an open sided barn, if anyone recommends this how far apart should they be to let the air in ?

I will have maybe 30/ 40 bags for home use only going into our central heating boiler

thanks for any tips or opinions

This time of year I'd store them in the open sided barn.

If you are going to stack the bags put a wooden pallet between each one. Some pallets on the floor wouldn't go amiss.
