New Zealand Work Experience – Rail Workers

 

Treescape is currently looking for Machine Operators, Sprayers, Arborist or Project Managers who have experience working in a rail environment. So if you are looking for a change and have experience working on rail now is your chance to join our team in the “land of the long white cloud”.

 

You will be working around some of the most beautiful landscapes that rail has to offer, ensuring safe passage for trains through green asset maintenance. If you are someone who loves to travel and enjoys regular away work exploring New Zealand, then this is the role for you!

Ideally, you will have:

 

·       3 years experience working in the rail environment.

·       Experience in the delivery of vegetation management services

·       Full class 2 with TW Drivers License preferred.

·       Experience with 4WD off-road driving preferred.

·       Willingness to learn and be a part of a safe work environment.

·       Ability and willingness to work alone and self-manage tasks.

·       Clear communication skills.

 

The fine print:

 

·       Candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a medical exam, and Ministry of Justice checks as part of the recruitment process (at Treescape’s cost).

·       This is a permanent and full-time position working Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week. Additional hours and flexibility are generally available.

·       Treescape will offer a financial relocation assistance package to the right candidate.
