Mitsubishi l200 4x4 tipper. 4 seater club cab.
Bought this truck in 2020 but has hardly had any use since due to having a lot of work carried out on it.
It’s had a gearbox refurb.
New tyres in 2020 which have covered very few miles.
New high side back and rear barn doors with waterproof top cover.
Over £1000 of small bits and pieces replaced or repaired.
Just had a second hand engine put in which has covered 46,334miles.
New fuel system, timing belt kit, water pump and turbo.
Fully serviced.
New front brake disks and 1 pad.
Currently has no mot as it’s just been stood around but it will come with 12 months worth on completion of sale.
I’ve spent well over £10,000 on it and it hasn’t really earned me anything due to sitting around waiting for parts or to be fixed. So selling it to recuperate costs, plus I’ve got a larger truck which is more suitable for the type of work I do.
The back has the capacity to hold 4 cubic meters but it can comfortable carry 2-2.5 cube of chip or logs.
If I was to keep it, I would upgrade the rear tyres to bf’s and upgrade the rear springs so that you could get away with 3+ cubic meters worth without being obvious.
It is a work truck so has a few scratches and some cracks on the front bumper. the chassis and tipper is in good condition. There is a crack across the bottom of the front windscreen but it doesn't affect your view so passes an mot. The speedo and mileage clock has stopped working. Whether it’s a fuse, faulty cable or something not put back right, I don’t know. But as long as it passes an mot I’m not planning on looking into it.
The truck itself has done just under 116,000 miles but as mentioned above the engine has come from a vehicle having done 46,334 miles
Viewing/test drive welcome.
No vat.
