Does anyone know anything about these mowers? Are they any good or do they tend to block up like some mowers when the grass is to long or wet?

I've been offered a second hand one and just wandered if it was worth buying?

Never used etesia mowers before myself but seen a few contractors using them.

Have always used Hondas but when looking to replace 4 wheeler looked at etesia and hayter rather than just sticking with what I knew. After a try and speaking to chap that services my machines his advice was they were expensive for what they were and advised me to stick with Hondas. I find with biocut you have to be cutting the grass more frequent than my customers want (every 2 wks) with wet or long grass had to raise the deck to cut and grass tended to ball up. Best try on worst site before you buy.

Cheers for the reply yeah i may try it out first. I'll only use it as a rear discharge machine with the bung type thing removed at the back of the mower.

The Duocut is supposed to be very good (better at collecting than the pro models apparently) and had a 3 year commercial warranty.

Might look into that one as well then, although i really want a mulching machine anyway.
