How's the 500i working out for you

So after all the hype, how are people getting on with the 500i (if you've gone and got one)?   I've had min for a week now and I am super impressed and could easily throw it around all day without fatigue with some brilliant power.  I would say that whilst people have compared it to the 661, it's not as powerful and for me won't replace it but instead compliment it.

What should you have at the top of your Tree Shopping List?!

What should you have at the top of your Shopping List when you are sourcing trees from any UK nursery?!   Answer:-   Ask the Supplier for a copy of their Biosecurity Policy.  They should be able to give you a unique reference number per tree from which an audit trail will verify from where the tree was sourced and how long it has been in the UK.   Trees imported into the UK should have at least one full year - all the growing seasons - on a UK nursery to ensure any

Tree Care 101: What Is Tree Surgery?

Tree Care 101: What Is Tree Surgery? Have you heard of tree surgeons? How about tree surgery? Both play vital roles in tree health, and they are important for the overall wellbeing of these plants and those who have them on their property.   While working as a tree surgeon can be potentially dangerous, it's important to know that these professionals take their jobs seriously and that they'll be able to help your tree whenever it might need it. But what exactly do they do, and what

dead sycamore

Hello My first post to the world of tree people and tree artists all and I would like your advice please.   I trimmed the sycamore in the photo about June last year just before the drought and it reacted very poorly. Specifically I removed any  dead branches of which there weren't that many of any size. There was a hefty branch that had broken off and I merely removed it without a live cut. I don't think I took off more than about 10-15% in volume. It seemed to react poorly - leav

kids food futures - growing food V lawns

Patios and back and front lawns are practical, that said where does our food come from and why are we no longer using our outdoor spaces to self provide for our families? We run a home education hub where we teach children how to develop a food growing space in their own back garden, with the help and support of their families    We are yet to have a first delivery of wood chips to begin our mission in self sustainable food production- in a grassy garden in simonsbath Exmoor

It's all fun and games until someone laughs at you.   Tip: Make sure your using a good fuel and gas mix and that the gas isn't stale. If you notice starting and running issues, replace the mix and notice the difference. If you don't your liable to get laughed at by Chewbacca, Sasquatch or the guy from the Geico commercial.   Any help with social
