how does folks, was wondering if anyone out there knows of a company in south or west wales that does chainsaw/ chipper etc training. I've heard of a few but they demand full payment in advance(is this common practice?) and few other problems(double booking etc) any one able to help out at all

thanks in advance

hiah dude.usk college run a cs30/31 course..did mine there a few years ago. theres a depot of ours in raglan that run chipper courses,on a scheme id never heard of before called chainsaw operators registry scheme.just a one day course.did our cs38/39 in hereford-holme lacey college. other than that you can contact a guy called ben daniels who was the tutor at usk when they ran cs38/39

Holme Lacy was the cheapest place I could find to do the coarses, but probably to far to go

To get Ben Daniels to run a coarse you'd need to find a few others to do it with. He's based between Newport and Pontypool. Can get his number if you want it.

Personally I've found Usk college to be a complete waste of time.
