Im going to Westonbirt to study towards the level 4 Diploma in arboriculture with Tree Life in October 2011. Any one else going?

good luck with it, I get the impression that it will be very useful experience & qualification.

 

Are you signed on to the course, just that I thought that the ratification of the level 4 was still to be rubber stamped?

(although a formality form what I understand)

 

This may be me just being not up to date with the current position

Yes I have signed up and paid my deposit (so no going back now!)

 

Yes you are right, I think the content has been qualified but there is fine tuning to be done on the assessment and examination side.

 

I felt it was time to commit myself to a formal qualification and had heard so many good things said about Tree Life, I knew it would be right for me. It wasnt a decision I took lightly, ive been procrastinating for two years now!

That was my concern initially, Im going to be travelling up from N Devon about 2.5hrs each way. But i think it will be worth it!
