Hire or Reward?????

Well, it's that time of year again - insurance due on my 2007 Ranger. Been with Direct Line last three years who have been good but you always want to shop around to see if you can save money don't you?? I remember last year a number of the normal companies said as I was delivering firewood I needed insurance for hire or reward and they would not cover.

A number of people on here have mentioned Aviva but when I did an online quote, I got so far and it said if you delivered goods you had to ring them.

Has anybody come across this before?

My renewal quote from Diretc Line is £652 with legal protection, rescue and guaranteed hire car.

Yes, I remember having this argument with a few companies last year. I do not take any payment in advance and until I have driven to the customers property, chucked the logs on their drive and they have given me the money, they are still my logs.

A google search revealed for hire or reward should apply to taxi drivers who are moving people.
