New ‘fee for intervention’ proposals mean businesses which are found by HSE inspectors to be in breach of health and safety law will be charged so that HSE can recover costs.

 

The level of charges would depend on the amount of time HSE has to spend on making sure employers put things right.

 

I know we are all whiter than driven snow but there are times when even the best can make a mistake and it's just another money making idea which will of course put prices up, it's not just Arb, it's every business going.
