...... a auger for our 1.5 ton digger I am doing a bit of research and asking on a few of the forums I am on

 

We use our digger on our own jobs and hire out with a driver to other local business and the public.its not out every week maybe once a month. so its sat idle. I have been looking at buying a auger attachment. we don't do much fencing so my thoughts are hiring it out? do you think they is a market for it ? any one else hire one in or out?

Use it as a marketing part to get the digger out more. An extra attachment. Would also probably widen your market for the hire.

They are a great machine to add on to your hire list,run an Auger torque one myself,use it on my own fencing and hire it out to only trusted people... Just make sure you have spare pipes for the auger, as i have had to replace mine several times when people get too close to certain fixed objects!!!!!
