Landy main beam light?
aah the joys of Landy electrics...
just replaced one headlight (sealed beam) with a halogen one, the other one was done at the last MOT. Before I touched it this afternoon, the blue main beam warning light on the dash worked - now it doesn't. Main beam still works, didn't tinker with the dash in any way - just pulled the plug off the back of the old light and plugged it into the new one  Anyone got any ideas on what the issue could be? cheers, Joe

On my old landy it never worked so never botherd me, passed mot with it aswell.

I was going to go and get a new bulb and replace it tomorrow, just seem a bit too coincidental as I was messing about with headlights anyway for the bulb to go. Thought it worth asking in case I'd done something I wasn't aware of which had caused this...

Should be able to get main beam indicator light unit and bulb off an old tractor. That's what I did on my MG, and I'm sure it's the same one on the LR.
