Hi all, I've recently completed my CS30 Cross Cut and Maintenance and I'm looking to get into tree work as a groundie/labourer up in Newcastle upon Tyne/North East. I do want to get climbing and up into trees but I'm just trying to get my foot in the door in the industry. Would anyone be able to help out a newbie looking to get a start in the industry? Ideally looking for full time work but a few days here and there would be great so I can get some more experience under my belt. I'm keen to learn and get as much experience as I can and learn from some pros, I've experience snedding and felling trees but not a great deal but I want to learn as much as possible and make a good go in the industry. I want to get stuck in really and make my way in the industry a bit before I get other tickets. More than happy to do all the brash clearance and all the standard groundie/labourer stuff, develop my skills and go onto get all my tickets. Learning to drive so don't have my own transport currently but I'm more than happy to commute wherever needed. Got my own PPE and hunting for a decent ground saw. Hi, We are looking for an arborist company local to Northumberland who can help with 5.5 acres of 50 year old spruce windthrow. Access to the site is available via a 10ft wide private track, and there are spaces available on site for storing the logs. The site is gently sloping ground. Please respond if you are interested or if you can recommend anyone suitable? Thanks Alec
