Has anyone had any dealings when a section 154 notice was served on a tree that is a potential bat tree ? Are there any examples that a highways authority extended the 14 days notice

Hi all, Obviously in the high winds and bad rain of last night trees fell blocking road paths etc. Now last night gave me a trip to the supermarket on on the return journey home a copper was parked up in the road with blues on. on looking it was apparent a Silver birch had fallen across a cycle path and one side of the carriageway. of course i stopped asked if he needed someone to clear up and get things moving. is response was yes please as the Highways crew are taking to long so of course after making things safe taping off etc we set to work and took logs away and cleared the road. council say yes to an invoice as the officer cancelled the highways crew and we did the work. question is whats the going rate to charge the council for: 2 of us 2 vehicles 2 saws cordon off etc Time Believe me we got soaked as well suggestions would be appreciated
