  1. Hi all I'm currently a contract Climber based in Adelaide, South Australia. I've been contacting for two years now in Adelaide, worked at companies previously in Adelaide for 5 years. I'm looking to do a little bit of traveling and networking before my wife and I have our first child. My qualifications are : - extended diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry (British) - CS tickets 30, 31, 38, 39, 40 and 41 - AQF Cert 4 in training and accessing - construction card I have all my own kit including - top handle saws - larger ground saws - full climbing kit - full rigging kit - 2014 ford ranger 3.2l 4x4 I am fully insured - public liability 10mil - professional indemnity 2mil I've kept it relatively short and sweet.   2. Hi all - I'm looking for a bit of extra work in / around Walton-On-Thames area. Don't mind travelling a bit but not too far. Contract climbing or groundwork. I'm a fully qualified arborist over from New Zealand. Full climbing kit and PPE with me. Own vehicle and I'll be picking up a saw or 2 soon. Have NZ tickets from basic chainsaw operation and maintenance, climbing and aerial rescue through to advanced rigging and close approach utility (powerline) work. Experience doing a large range of work from residential pruning and removals to large scale land clearance, commercial work and utility arb.   4. Hi there, i am desperately looking for a good climber to do a crown reduction on an oak tree on Wednesday 16th October, I will pay very well if somebody can help me out at short notice. The location is near Thatcham in Berkshire. Any help will be greatly appreciated guys.
  5. This will likely require being a groundperson for 4 to 5 days starting on Monday 26th September so must be able to stay away for several days. Will be travelling from Bath to Sussex and Doncaster over this period to undertake tree surveys for roosting bats. Should have own climbing kit, insurance and climbing certificate available with aerial rescue. All expenses paid including hotels and food.   9. We are a small Arboricultural Association 'Approved Contractor' . We require another climber on a full-time or 6 month contract basis. You MUST HAVE AS A MINIMUM NPTC 30, 31, 38,39, 41 , Current first-aid certificate, a CLEAN driving license to include class B & E or pre 97.. We also require a minimum of 5 years CLIMBING experience, or that you are an exceptional climber with a good working knowledge of BS standards & tree biology, if you have less.... Your attitude to the job is also of great importance, we need someone to 'muck in' and help with clearing up, to get your team home earlier etc... There is a decent salary & more available to the right person.   10. We are a small AA Approved contractor based on the glos/wilts/oxon border, we require a freelancer initially during September into October and maybe longer. You will need to be quick, efficient, have a minimum of 5 years experience & be able to supply references, clean driving licence (including trailer as a minimum) you must be able to do hedges very well, as well as large tree work to include rigging.   11. A small personable Arboricutural Association 'Approved Contractor' based on the Oxon/Glos/Wilts borders. We require a highly motivated NPTC certified arborist to work in our arb team. The successful applicant should have at least 3 years climbing experience. The job will involve climbing and working on site sometimes supervising the team when team leader is not present. A full driving licence is essential. Excellent salary (£23K+) depending on qualifications and experience, accommodation can also be provided. There are 28 days holidays per annum.
