  1. I have just moved to Liverpool and want to start work as an arborist. I was wondering, are there many job opportunities in Merseyside, or places to get work experience? I am a rock climber so I have already met the physical requirements. I am currently looking into getting all the necessary qualifications to get started but would appreciate any advice on getting work, paid or unpaid, to get the experience I need. Thanks in advance
  2. I'm requiring a part time climber (2-3 days per week) to fill the gaps in my labour. Starting immediately. I can't offer a permanent position as of yet but have a couple large jobs coming up which I could do with a hand. Person needs to qualified and experienced enough to work unsupervised and carry out all aspects of tree surgery including take-downs, crown reduction etc. Must have own climbing equipment and PPE and be registered self-employed. We're based in Pontardawe near Swansea and the majority of our work is in the local area. Business name is Tenderleaf Tree Services if you want to look us up. If your interested please PM me. Many thanks, Paul.
  3. My name is Jordan and I'm 23, Just finished my course completing my cs30/31, cs38 and cs39. Now looking for work full time, don't mind working long hours and weekends if necessary. Hard working, don't mind pulling my own wight and getting stuck in, really need to start gaining experience and gaining skills. Don't even mind doing some voluntary work to begin. If you think you might have some work for me just give me a shout on my email - [email protected] Or leave a message on 07447937474 I will get back to you as soon as possible
  4. Hi all, I have recently moved to the Finisterre area of Brittanny, France, and I am looking for any kind of experience/ advice available. Having been here for a few weeks already and it not being in my nature to sit still for too long, i have begun to get itchy feet and i am looking to get back into some kind of useful work, I have some basic level french (having a french partner, and a couple of years of leisure time studying) but i feel the only way to get a real education is to be out there talking the language. If anyone knows of anyone companies locally who be willing to take on an intern of sorts, willing to work for little to no pay, i would appreciate the help. CV available on request, key points included; 6+ Years Experience in a fencing company 2+ Years NPTC Qualified (30&31) (maintenance, cross cutting and felling) Thanks all!
  5. Hello everyone. My name's Chris Acraman, I'm 21 and currently living just outside of Plymouth and I'm looking for experience in the aboriculture industry I have some experience of tree surgery through volunteering with the National Trust, a fair grasp on woodland management and very good knowledge on British trees and their properties. I'm looking for any experience I can get with a local tree surgeon on Fridays/weekends. I will be getting my CS30 and Emergency first aid at work soon, but would be happy to start off helping in any way I can before I get the tickets through. If anyone has (or knows of) anything available, I would really appreciate discussing it further with you. Thanks, Chris.
  6. okay so i have just started work as a groundsman (full time employed) with no experience and right now haven't got any tickets, but i really want to learn as much about this business and gain as much experience as possible. so i am asking if any one has any weekend work that i could come and help with, i am willing to work for free depending on the job as the experience and knowledge i will gain is payment enough for me for now. thanks guys
