I'm requiring a part time climber (2-3 days per week) to fill the gaps in my labour. Starting immediately. I can't offer a permanent position as of yet but have a couple large jobs coming up which I could do with a hand. Person needs to qualified and experienced enough to work unsupervised and carry out all aspects of tree surgery including take-downs, crown reduction etc. Must have own climbing equipment and PPE and be registered self-employed. I'm in the process starting a new tree surgery company based in the Pontardawe/Swansea area. I require a climber or groundsman to help me get the business up and running. Initially, to be honest, the work is going to be slow coming in but hopefully will quickly pick up and soon we'll be working full time. You'd need to have the basic qualifications to carry out the job including CS30, 31, 32, and most importantly 38 and preferably some experience would be great. You'd also need to be prepared to become self-employed and work for the company as a contractor. PPE can be provided. Hi all, I've just got back from a bit of travelling abroad and need some work.. Completed the Foundation Degree in Arb at Myerscough 5 years ago and have worked for a number of companies climbing. As well as being a fairly proficient climber I also have experience at writing tree reports and managment plans and dealing with councils and commercial clients. I've been religiously checking Arbjobs and all the other relevent sites but my lack in towing and 7.5ton licence aint doing me any favours. If there is someone out there who could do with an extra bod on site who is hard working and willing to take some of those managerial duties off their hands too then please contact me.
