  3. Longstone Avenue Allotments

    Wood chip:
CLEAN ONLY. NO pine needles or pine branches. NO conifer trees. NO ivy. Nothing which will add acidity to soil. Logs: Hardwood preferred
Birch, Alder, Oak, Willow, Ash, Alder, Maple. Not full trunks, please. Ideally in smaller log form.
    Important note:
Please DO NOT drop off wood chip or logs if I am not present. I have to check that the chip is clean before it comes on site. Acidic trees/leaves are not permitted. Please DO NOT ask other people to open the gates for you unless it is myself, Leah.  Anyone who drops off when I am not present will be reported to the council. Apologies - there are rogue tree companies out there who have acted very poorly in the past.
Directions: Find Newfield Primary School (big red signs) entrance opposite Roundwood Park. At the end of the lane, you can see green gates for the allotments. Drive-up access.

Drop-off: Access is via padlocked gates, so please call me to make arrangements. I work from home (nearby) Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun, so I can bike over to open the gates for you in less than 10 mins. Ideally, please call with as much notice as possible.
