  1. Stay clear of Allstar they are a complete scam. I used them a few years back, was very busy with around 30 vans on the road. Had a look one month out of curiousity and noticed we was paying above pump price 😳. After going back some 7 months we realised we had payed them over 20k additionally to pump prices. When questioned they said our company credit score had dropped and in there policy it gives them the ability to charge us more. Couldn’t recover our money and well yes just a complete scam of a firm. Stay well clear. Now with BP and get around 5-10p off per litre roughly.
  2. You shouldn’t have a problem with rot if you don’t concrete them in. If you used old electricity poles, dig them in to around 1-1.2meters and around 400mm up from the base notch a horizontal section to create a T shape then back fill (compacting hard every 200mm). You’ll not suffer really with rot. My friend has a barn which his grandad built which is over 60yrs old. We replaced 3 of the 12 poles about 18 months ago but that’s the first time it’s had work done other than being hit by machinery. it’s the concrete that will allow the water to sit on top and accelerate the rot. Hence why powerlines and BT poles are never concreted in place 👍

2015/16 bandit 990 chipper, with winch. 122hp caterpillar engine not the baby engine. 800hrs, regularly serviced and blades always changed and kept sharp. Comes with a further 3 sets of blades. Brakes recently overhauled and all working correctly. This machine hasn’t been used much over the past 12/18 months due to a change of direction in business. This was always a second machine for us so has never been used and abused daily. Only ever towed behind a defender (also soon to be for sale) so not stuck behind a lorry being bounced around. really solid machine, will happily service or send to global for a service (for new owners peace of mind) prior to sale. Absolutely no faults, will go straight to work without any hesitation. the rear lights do have a slight bend, it’s been straightened out but visible. Also there is a small dent on the lower hoper just above the reflective tape. That’s the only bad parts. Finance can be arranged through a broker who we’ve used previously and very competitive. There is no finance or outstanding debt on this machine. please call or email for any info 07794510797
