  4. I've just checked to see how much my van is worth and it's worth more now than what I paid for it Even we buy any van have offered just under what I paid that's mad how much vans have gone up in price

Brilliant info thank you I'm very tempted At the min I have a transit custom 2016 50,000 miles but it's not practical for family life as my partner was hoping to of passed her test by now but covid put a stop to that My dilemma is truck and cheap van possibly smaller or truck and trailer but then I'm not sure what trailer I can legally have with 2004 license

  10. I was slightly worried about this but I live birmingham/Bromsgrove way and not heard of this coming into play anytime soon I was kinda thinking if I could get a solid truck for not too much money I could just run it until it packs up on me

  13. My dad had a navara just for every day use and the dpf kept clocking up he had to take it for a run down the motorway to clear it
  14. Ah ok so checking the chassis is just as important as the actual engine

I've seen some solid looking trucks for around the 4k mark but mileage tends to be around 120,000+ I know the makes that I'm looking at should all have pretty good engines but I don't know how much more life they would have in a 100,000+ engine I guess if it's only been used domestically it should have plenty left I'm not too clued up on pick ups really

I'm looking at maybe getting a pickup more for general day to day use to start off with Would need to be a double cab for two kids Like I said it would be used as a daily vehicle but long term would probably also be used for work purposes tree an general garden maintenance Money wise probably looking to spend around £6,000 - £8,000 maximum Preferences so far are toyota hilux, ford ranger, mitsubishi l200 not really took much interest in anything else What would everyone out there suggest from own experience Cheers

  18. Thanks! I can't wait looking forward to a career change and working outdoors. A hell of a lot to learn and experience needed before I'm even close to half competent at doing the basics of tree work

Right I'm booked in for 29th of March to do my cs30/31 at ian morgan arb which has now changed to commercial arb training Also being made redundant fr rom.my full time factory job at end of March so hopefully I will pass these courses and be able to get some kind of ground work with a local firm whether it's employed of self employed

Hi all I want to get into tree surgery and it looks like a good start would be to get my cs30/31 tickets At least then I may be able to get a few days work with a local company as a groundie and start learning and gaining some knowledge I'm being made redundant from my full time job in april but I also do part time (self employed) garden maintenance so I have basic knowledge using a chainsaw My question is I'm based in Bromsgrove west midlands and was looking for a good trainer to get my tickets Can anyone advise where to look? The only one Iv'e found that isn't too far 1 hour away is ian morgan arb Thanks in advance for any advice you can give

Hi My name is Grant Lynch I'm 34 years old I live in the Bromsgrove area of west midlands and I am looking to get into the tree surgery business I currently work full time in a factory and part time (self employed) doing garden maintenance. I will be made redundant from the factory end of March due to a closure I would love to work with a team on a part time basis to learn as much as possible obviously starting with the ground work and eventually working up to putting myself through full training I haven't as yet done any courses but I do have experience working with chainsaws and I have done quite a bit of hedge work I also have experience using a 6.5hp gravity fed chipper I have all my own ppe steel toes, chainsaw trousers, helmet I'm hard working usually 6 days a week love working outdoors rain or shine and generally just enjoy doing a hard days graft If you think you may be able to offer me some work or give me a trial it would be much appreciated 07958239500 Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can offer
