  1. Rebuild a few from crank up but don't have the knowledge to do that despite seeing enough over the pond videos. Think i have two stripped so would love a wild 346 if i could get someone to port.
  2. What a great saw, power to weight ratio is excellent.
  3. Thank you so much as always adw so this pinched part of that pipe didn't help at all !!
  4. During the tank test air flowed out of the green elbow and not around where it seats in the tank. Thanks for your reply Spud
  5. Today whilst pressure testing the fuel tank on the saw with my mityvac air was rushing out of the green tank vent. Am i right in saying this shouldn't happen and its a one way valve to let air in and not out? Thanks
  6. Stihl 009 just wont oil, stripped pump if that's what you can call it. Blown through and cleaned out the feed pipe and no issues there. Blasted brake cleaner through the brass pipe which has the one way valve with no apparent blockage. I've replaced the diaphragm that has the attached rod too so im stumped. Anyone worked on one of these that can possibly tell me where in going wrong? Thanks
  7. Sorted it now and found the Walbro part number 615-852 and ordered.
  8. Can someone put me in the right direction for a carb gasket set for the above saw as the one i received from l&s was way smaller 503647801. The carb is a Walbro RWJ4A 143 thanks
  9. All clean, ill get onto l&s as i have an account and hope that sorts it. Yeah got a myti vac so ill get onto that once kit fitted, remind me what psi thanks
  10. Upon investigation i started with the basics before getting too deep and came across this. Would you consider this to be the most likely cause to the issues? Thanks
  11. Thanks spud, not actually a customer just a person who will give me something for fixing it.
  12. Thank you so much, i had read somewhere about the farmertec metal clamp👍

Need some members expertise please, customers 372xp revvs up after completing a log cut and then settles again before the same on next log. This happened today after the saw got warm ( 3 x 15" log cuts) This saw resides on a farm and been left for long periods without use. What are your thoughts? Thanks
  15. Apparently he's used motul and husqvarna oil at 50-1.

Hi all, just taken the saw appart with a suspected air leak on the base gasket(brake cleaner test) and finding this much carbon build up. What are your views? Thanks
  19. As i said to spud, 1st attempt went haywire as it skipped threads due to too much pressure but second attempt with no pressure went in a treat.
  20. Helicoiling parts arrived from Germany, tapped, helicoiled, rebuilt snd now a running saw. Very happy chap thanks to the members input.
  21. I'll get a bubble for a spirit level at the same time shall i?
  22. Thank you so much for the very detailed explanation, that has given me a clearer picture of what's ahead of me.
