  1. Wow Thankyou that’s fascinating ? I will watch this now ??
  2. Poor soul ? I hope he can still work !!!! accidents happen unfortunately and he survived thank the lord. Bet that gave you a wee fright !!!! ? I’m ok when I’m in the middle of an incident it’s when I’m alone it hits me, nothing a drop of brandy has not helped me through so far ?
  3. Do any of the boots actually stop a chainsaw or at least take a while to slice through ??
  4. Awwwww they look comfortable ?? I don’t know why I don’t have Wellington boots really ? my brashers are gortex so completely dry and cosy. And they are like slippers inside because of all the padding. I have been wearing boots for decades in my different careers and these exceed my expectations and last a good while honestly. I must cover about ten miles a day at work so comfort is important ? gosh Im boring myself lol ?
  5. Hilarious ?
  6. Good morning my lovely friend ? I do not own a pair of wellingtons lol ? I spend five days a week in a pair of brasher boots which have to be THE most comfortable boots in existence ?? My whole uniform consists of Black lightweights and black tops and coats !!!! Not an attractive sight I’m afraid ? So Stubby is a shoe snob then ?
  7. Hey I won’t hear a word said against Stubby lol ? he is a wee angel and has a big heart ? although for comedy come backs Khriss that prize is definitely yours my fellow brummie ????
  8. Lol ? awwwwwww Thankyou Tommy ? these are the people that need to be pinned down and hugged extra hard until you can make them HAVE to like you lol ? you cannot stay mad at a smiling wee face. But if that does not work then a good fight normally gets their respect ??????????????????????
  9. Facebook has lots of different groups but there are some real nasty comments when people upload their work.
  10. Thankyou Stubby ?
  11. But many of the other sites are not as professional as this one and are full of bullying and negative comments between Arb people so I stay clear. It’s a great loss to potential tree surgeons if other sites may put them off altogether ?
  12. Awwwww no not at all, I’m pleased someone took the time to help out honestly and i always appreciate feedback good or bad. I guess we all have an opinion but it’s the delivery and the wording that can upset or offend very deeply. This can be a spiteful world and people seem to hate on each other everywhere you turn !!! I don’t understand hatred of anyone or anything and why can’t we all just live and let live ? ooops sorry bit deep ? I just want to fit in and be accepted ??‍♀️
  13. I just looked up the difference and my terminology was completely wrong ??‍♀️ Thank you because now the difference ? I have had one mean post so far but mostly everyone has been very supportive and offered lots of advice. This is a great site for a training tree surgeon and I learn something from many of the great posts and videos. Thanks again 5 Shires ?
  14. Awww I’m still learning but Thankyou for trying to protect me ? I better change it ?
  15. Loved watching this video it’s fascinating watching how a take down is completed from start to finish ?
  16. Hello k ? I am a little all over the place still with the tree identification and I am getting a lot wrong but I learnt so much today about diseases and pests it’s great learning something new. It is sad that 20 of these beautiful trees will be lost but I know it’s for the best ?? The vicar was so clever and this place had so much rich history behind it !!!
  17. Lucky enough to be assisting with the inspection of the trees in Northwoodcemetery today and there are over 20 to be felled. Learning a lot about the reasons trees must be removed and the vicar told me an amazing story, In 1941 four explosive bombs were dropped over Cowes and two exploded in the cemetery. The bombs were so powerful that the debris from the explosion was fired through the surrounding trees. It remains there today, I’ve added the footnotes andthe tree with the fence post is behind me but covered in ivy at the moment ?
