Paddy Thankyou for defending the older generation wishing to start a new career in tree surgery ? you may have an onslaught of negative responses sorry. However if it works out for me the great and if it doesn’t then At least I tried. I have to work another 25 years before I can retire and I need a challenge and by the sounds of it it will be just that. Obviously no one my age must be tree surgeons !!!!! Looks like I have my first spiteful response ? thank goodness for positive forward thinkers like you x

Gosh it’s not that bad AHPP ? I would rather wear this that a top with the word BENCH written across it ? each to their own eh ! Life’s too short and none of us are getting out of it alive.

Post a picture when you get it done Lux if you do not mind sharing ? there are some hugely talented tattooists out there highly skilled. And I should imagine you will have the cream of the crop in London to choose from ??

Will are you working on the Island ? And if it’s for a company would they be interested in a free worker so I can get some experience ? Ben is a nice man but Ive only ever emailed him about the courses so far. Still to actually meet ! Hopefully once lockdown ends ?

I looked into their company and it does look great Will. I found a wee lad on the Island called Ben and he takes some courses so it would save my travelling fees and accommodation. However these courses will not run unless enough people are interested so it’s a case of weighing up which to go for. I would prefer to get the main tickets immediately and start my new life. Unfortunately I need to save firstly for my own PPE and then the courses themselves. I will get there because it’s something definitely want ? Thankyou for your advice ??

Awwwww I like that ? it’s a dangerous job so deserves recognition. Plus it impresses the ladies ? although if I wore one they would think I was a tomboy so I would take a pass ?

I think tattoos suit men and you can have them on show. I have seen some beautiful work. I guess spending Ten years with squaddies I saw lots of tattoos ? they used to joke about them helping to identify their bodies ? sorry that’s a little dark. I have a few wee ones but nothing on show and each one marked something x

I know how amazing is the artist ❤️ And with a chainsaw and a wee tool ? A beautiful way to save the last of a dying tree. The more I read about trees the more I fall in love and I’m totally enjoying my new found passion ?????
