  1. I contacted a Logosol distributor regarding an MS 880... they didn’t have one (no surprise) but they did reply to my call and said they had received an email from STIHL and told me the new 880 is due for release in November but no information on the day or price yet! This could be inaccurate, perhaps someone on her will know better. But could be good news![emoji1317]
  2. Thanks for replies. I use a 48” lo pro bar. I have seen a 64” used online ok. Is as just curious if anyone has tried what I mentioned but I pretty much guessed not.
  3. I have seen the stihl ms 661 use the GB Lo Pro bar at 64” .50 gauge Has anyone used a larger bar .63 gauge using the 661 or is the 64” bar .50 as large as it will take before needing an ms880?
  4. Chainsawbars do a 64 LoPro
  5. My local dealer Ben Burgess has 3 in stock I got a brand new 2018 model power head and came with 48 inch Duromatic bar and stihl China plus scabbard for 1272 all in. I sold the bar and chain for 340 so all in all not a bad deal ?
  6. I’m not sure I haven’t researched that. I just heard about the 880. That would make sense I’ll have a look ??
  7. I am new to this forum. Just thought I would see if I am right in what I have heard.... Today I purchase a new STIHL ms 880. The rep who I deal with said he couldn’t find it in the 2020 catalogue. I then went online to a website and it said ‘discontinued’ So it appears to be true the 880 is going!? Emissions I heard? Saving the planet one chainsaw at a time ?
