I think it would be fair to say we’ve all carried a bit too much at times in the past to get a job finished and had a giggle about it.
You evolve and learn though. Take on big jobs you need capable kit. To massively overload on a regular basis never ends well.

I have a TT2515 so should be the same-ish dimensions(I would have to check though). If the OP doesn't want it, please send me a pm.

Gas work is a different ball game but waterworks is a piece of piss with modern fittings

Plumbers seem to have a bit of an attitude regards pricing. £500 a shift for turning up with a couple of spanners is taking the piss.

At 46 the UN diplomat style tolerance of annoyance has now been replaced with Frank doberman on a bad day.
And an appreciation of a good cheese ?

Can only say good things about rock gear . You won’t be disappointed in your chipper. I’ve got one and I’ve chogged a fair bit through mine in the past year without any dramas?

Stuck in a hedge or in a shed for years and away they go like they were used yesterday...
When we used to park landrovers up at work over the Xmas holidays for 2 weeks they needed the full rescue package.
Just goes to show quality lasts!

I would push him for wages on the first 3 days stacking then do a couple of days for free when you’re actually learning something worthwhile.
Sounds like he’s just after free muscle

Would say around 4 hours including painting. As for cost I couldn’t guess as I used stuff I had already. But If you counted a length of 1” box section at £20 and then £10 for other bits you wouldn’t be far away

Tried it this evening with net bags and it doesn’t snag. The chequering is smoother than some I’ve seen though. ?

Yeh after a day in the workshop and a few hundred quid thrown at it.

I use a pcw3000 . Had it just over a year now and it’s been great. Last time I used it was for clearing windblow from a steep banked river channel. Saved the day to be honest.
Bit of an expensive buy but will last a lifetime if well cared for

Thanks for sharing your experience fella. I have an echo pole saw and a 360tes in the fleet and it’s good to know their customer service is a priority should a problem arise.
