Brilliant. Thanks. The spark arrester is still here. Does it pay dividend to take that off? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Best 70cc saw

Changing the subject on my husky 550 now!! In the market for a 70cc saw. What's people's opinion as to what's the best and what would you all recommend? I heard good things about the Stihl MS 441. Is this the case? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Aw no man [emoji85][emoji24]. Pretty hopeless? The 560's seem slightly better. Well seen as everything's going electronic (stupid) these days they seem a more preferred option. What would you say I should fight for? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. My 550XP is yet again back at the dealer due to poor running/starting etc. this is the second time this has happened and I'm pretty mad. As its only 2 months old a few of you guys are saying I should demand a new saw which is fair. So my question. Should I pay the difference and upgrade to a 560XP?? These seem pretty faultless. Bar oils

You could be onto something there. It's been bloody cold the past few days mind you and it is kept in the garage. It's maybe just because it was cold Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Bar oils

Interesting to hear all the different opinions. The bar is getting oil so it's not all bad. Maybe it's all in my head, or I'm just being seriously anal [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Bar oils

Probably going to sound like a daft question but is chain oil chain oil or are they all different? I'm using the Oregon chain oil in my 550XP but I'm finding it too think if that makes sense. All the oilers are clear on the bar but it doesn't seem to do a great job. I turned the oiler up but it just started literally pouring out. Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    New saw required

Am not ready to give up on it yet. A spoke to husqvarna technical and say think it could be a possible air leak somewhere or a collapsed bearing. So it's going back tomorrow again. Hopefully fingers crossed it gets sorted this time. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Having had a husky 550xp for sometime now I'm still having running issues with it. It's had the new carb and fuel lines etc but to no avail. Been looking at Stihl. What would be the Stihl equivalent? Or what would be the best to go for? Using the 550 for a bit of everything really. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  22. Excellent. Thanks for that! Another question. What's the best type of carpet to glue to the roof? The thin stuff with the foam backing? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Hahaha that would look the part turning up to a customers house with or blasting through the woods with [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Will evo stick stick a carpet to the metal roof of a van though? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. I've got a van for my daily runner. I was wanting to carpet the roof and the bulk head to insulate it. Wondering if anyone has done this and successfully? I've tried once but it didn't work. Any ideas or suggestions? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
