  1. Hello, Anyone know of a LOLER Inspector in the North East? Thank you.
  2. Hello, Anyone on here do any science in trees? I'm wondering how it works with nesting season since fieldwork season is nesting season! Thanks, Rob.
  3. Evening All, Climber available to work in the Newcastle area on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I hold Maintenance, Cross-Cutting and Felling, Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue, Aerial Cutting, Woodchipper and Arb Groundworker. I'm also IRATA Level 1 (with own PPE) if that's any use to anyone. CSCS, but PTS has lapsed (happy to renew if there's enough work to make it worthwhile). Own arb PPE and most climbing gear but I've recently been relieved of my spikes. Currently bereft of saws as well, they went wherever the spikes went. Let me know if there's anything I can help with. Newcastle based. Contact me through here, [email protected] or on 07919537433. Thanks you, Rob.
  4. Can't find the serial numbers at the moment. Sadly not written down but there might be photos somewhere. Just to add, with respect to identifying the saws in case you see them: One CS-2511TES had a metal exhaust cover, Oregon bar and is running a 3/8" chain. Probably running a bit rough since it was on my "to fettle" list. The other CS-2511TES has a pretty new Echo bar and is running a 1/4” chain. It's also had a muffler mod. The T540XP is stock apart from a Sugihara bar. The 550XP is stock.
  5. The post I hoped never to make... Small fry in comparison to some of the other stolen kit on here but just in case you get offered some kit in the North East / Newcastle area... I'm missing Two (2) Echo CS-2511TES, one with a metal exhaust cover One Husqvarna T540XP One Husqvarna 550XP A pair of Stein spikes Assorted krabs and things Keep your eyes peeled! Rob.
  6. Thanks Mark, T'other Mark has been in touch 👍🏼.
  7. Just to add my two-penneth... I've just been quoted 21 week lead time for a clutch plate for a 2511 top handle. I don't know if that's code for "we're never making any ever again". I don't suppose anyone knows where I can get one from? Love the saw, but things break (or get lost...) and to have it sat on the bench for the best part of six months is an invitation to buy / use something else.
  8. Morning All, A bit of a repeat of a post from March (before it all went a bit strange...) I've recently moved to the North East and I'm looking to start populating my contact list and build up work again. I hold Maintenance, Cross-Cutting and Felling, Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue, Aerial Cutting, Woodchipper and Arb Groundworker. I'm also IRATA Level 1 if that's any use to anyone. CSCS, but PTS has lapsed (happy to renew if there's enough work to make it worthwhile). I've got my own saws and PPE. Let me know if there's anything I can help with. Newcastle based. Contact me through here, [email protected] or 07919537433. Regards, Rob.

  10. I was liking at those silver bull ones. That might be my solution. Thanks all.
  11. Hi Steve, It's a Butterfly (2 - if that makes a difference). Rob.
  12. Hello, Does anyone have any advice on making sure your first aid kit stays on your harness? I know you could use a krab, but I find it a bit dangly and snaggy. I've got one of those small Stein ones and the ineffectual velcro / popper combination in conjunction with the tree always means that the first aid kit ends up on the ground. Anyone got a fool proof way of making it stay put? Thanks, Rob.
  13. Hi Josh, ...and no-one's getting our souls right?☺ Rob.
