    Husqvarna 262XP

    Thanks guys gives me an idea of what to offer. Saw is mint and used only by a non pro for very occasional use. Tried to offer a bag of bullseyes but nae joy !
  3. Just bought a new Husqvarna 550xp. The first time I used it for 30 mins and It worked fine. Turned it off, topped it up with fuel then went to start it again after 20 minutes and it wouldn't start. It would run for 1 - 3 seconds after priming then die. Its going back to the shop but any ideas or has anyone else had the same experience ? I've been running 550xp for almost 4 years and no issues or problems other than this.

    Have a still 201TC. Good wee saw but recently it has started to leak petrol from the butt of the handle where the right hand holds. Anyone else experienced this ? The saw is only 2 years only and average use.

  8. Its for a beech tree so being int a hardie should last a while. Many thanks for info Mike.
  9. Forestry commission sell the wood at £20 a ton which is pretty good for small loads etc. You can uplift yourself or arrange for a haulier to pick up for you but you need to arrange haulier. regards elfie
  10. looking for hiring a chipper in the Aberdeenshire area. I have used many types of chippers over the years now and have no preference of model etc. Any advice or people willing to hire would be grateful on info. regards Elfie
  11. Guys, I have a couple of wee projects on the go at the moment. Project 1 - preserving a tree stump which has been levelled at around 4ft as a bird table for a customer. What is the best way of preserving the wood for a natural look. Project 2 - making some items like house signs etc. What is best way to preserve the wood but keep natural look ? Many thanks elfie

  13. i'm thinking of buying a husky 576xp, any recommendations or advice on whether to get the the autotune or non autotune version ?
