You'd better read the post above, it explains how I saw the conversation. An opinion.

You'd better also read the post above where I explained that your 'liar' term stems from you not understanding a post where I expressed an opinion you disagreed with. If you think I have told a lie, let me know and also consider whether what I said was an opinion or a lie. I have no clue what you are talking about you see.

So back to the topic of the thread, making the news today and green issues, whether they are important. Do try to keep it on track without the ineffective insults, be a good chap.

You lied and were called out

Anyone reading the covid thread is aware of it. They were accusations of me being prepared to sacrifice the elderly, saying hospital stats were a hoax or a hologram, that it was a conspiracy to gain control and a multitude of others, you made the accusations and claims repeatedly until I asked you to prove it, now apparently you claim it was an opinion. I’ve posted enough evidence to prove what you accused me of and that you lied repeatedly it’s as simple as that.
Maybe it’s yourself who needs to look up what is considered lying. Like the other forum member said put up or shut up, you have then and continue now in embarrassing yourself.

You won't get an answer, it is an uncomfortable thing for him this week. Can't blame you though Johnson, D, so many conversations going on your head must be spinning faster than Chuckys.

Insects. Conversation was something like this (and I am paraphrasing, you can easily go back to read it):

SNP and the Scottish Green party are having an argument, Green party is "next to useless and push their agendas". Without green issues being looked at what will happen to wildlife in the UK, as an example insects and bugs.. where are they all, definitely fewer bugs on car windscreens than usual. In France there are loads (I don't suppose we only used to get EU bigs over here, working?).

Nearly up to speed now. So bugs are decreasing, discuss.

I'll add, are green issues important or not?

I am not holding my breath though. Fully expect the playground insults to continue in my direction but hey-ho, that's the way it is.

What crap or lies are you spouting now 🤷‍♂️

    Have I not replied ?.

Your fellow believer / liar dreamt up some conversation about insects i apparently participated in,  I’ve asked him to show me the posts because I certainly can’t find it or recollect it.
They ain’t playground insults you have been asked multiple times to back up your accusations and claims and can’t. Therefore you lied. It’s not just myself who has called you out on this.

in reference to the highlighted sentence of your post i quoted.

You will have to be more specific im afraid. Not wanting to get into the ludicrous pronoun bollocks but I’m pretty sure I said him and he either side, that would lead any reasonable individual to presume “ especially when i specifically mentioned the cass report” that I was referring to the politician in question.
Say anything about illegal immigration and you are extreme right wing or racist.

Say anything about Muslims and terror arracks you are Islamophobic.

Question the whole trans crap and you are transphobic etc etc it goes on and on and on.

Worst of all is it’s actually condoned and promoted as normal in schools, to hell with a decent education eh. Look at how far Scottish education has slipped since our inclusive gender nutcase  SNP has been charge.

Mate, I was only trying to engage you in a reasonable discussion on a hot topic that should be in the news, in keeping with the title of this thread. Even with your plain diet, surely you must eat some fruit and grains/seeds/pulses.

    Discuss;-

That’s fine now please show me where I stated the things you claimed. A quick screenshot of the post will suffice.

For terms of reference "lying" refers to "expressing an opinion that you don't agree with". However if that is what you say then it must be true.

Right, off you toddle in your rage, I've got work to do.

You tell lies and make false statements that you cannot back up 🤷‍♂️it is very very obvious to myself and others. The attempts to portray or imply someone is in rage is  laughable. You literally had your arse handed to you on the other thread over the same tendency to lie yet here you trying the same thing.

Mate, I'm lost. You've tied yourself in a knot again here, you seem to be contradicting yourself now. How do propose that we reverse the dramatic decline in insect numbers? The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries in the world. (As evidenced by the previous post). For reference, climate change and the biodiversity crash aren't the same thing. Related, but not interchangeable.

You won't be able to comprehend this, but most things in the real world aren't black and white. It's entirely possible to agree with one sentiment that a person holds, whilst disagreeing with another.

Lying is a strong word to be throwing around like confetti. What's gotten you into such a rage this time?

Qoute this rage thing as much as you and StevenP want. No one is in a rage I just find it incredulous that  you have reverted back to the same methods you tried on another thread. I’ll ask again please show me where I mentioned anything either for or against anything you have gone on about regarding insects, you’ve literally created  a conversation in your head it would seem. You can mask it up anyway you want but it’s lying plain and simple and most certainly not an opinion.

This is like getting blood from a stone, but we're getting there at least! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ So you do believe that the plummet in insect numbers is real and it does bother you. Good. So how do you think we should tackle it? Given that it's such an important and urgent issue.

🤷‍♂️ I'm not sure why Patrick Harvie has got your goat today. 🤷‍♂️ I know nothing about him so can't comment I'm afraid.

Seriously 42 you guys need stop this lying. I seriously think you struggle with the truth a bit at min.

please show me where I said any of the things you have just claimed??. That is a simple enough request.
I thought seeing as you liked a post earlier when someone was defending the sick bugger you must know what you were thinking about as you hit the button. Apologies if I was mistaken.

You are getting wound up by a drop down box on a form... bit of a reality check needed perhaps?

Anyway, to wind you up a little more... Your opinion of the Covid measures was that they damaged childrens mental health greatly and yet adding 2 words onto a box that will make some childrens mental health better is a step too much? Granted it is a very small portion of children however for them very important. So for the sake of consistency, is childrens mental health important, or not? Or does that only apply to the correct type of child and not all?

The site liar and his word salad 👍
If it’s such a wonderful thing why are the numbers increasing at the rate they are relative to kids mental the more we push that utter shit you seem to support. Mind you when you see  sick buggers like Patrick Harvie whom was recently protesting against the cass report in government then it’s not surprising that schools are pushing crap like that.

So you're not bothered by the extent of insect decline in the UK? (76% drop in Scotland). Or do you not believe that either?

Surely you must eat some fruit and grains as part of your plain diet.

Not believe what either ?? What’s the either bit here 42, Jesus you  guys really need to stop this false claims and lying thing, it’s a bad habit you have all gotten into. I’m gonna ask you again show me where I said I wasn’t bothered or I didn’t believe anything 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.  This is like being on the bloody covid thread again.

If you are wanting to take a man out for a meal Patrick Harvie should have time on his hands nowadays, he will sort you out with a bit of splat I reckon.

But what food do you like to eat?

Do you remember the good old days of having to clean insect splat off the windscreen?

No need to work yourself into a lather over "sick twisted individuals". Again.

No ones in a lather as you put it, mind you I do get a bit bored  waiting for you to back up your claims posted else where but that’s another story. I clean insect splat off my windscreen regularly 🤷‍♂️although maybe not the same splat as you are referring too.

Are you asking me out for a meal you F…..g mincer 😳

I shoot most of my own meat as it happens. Venison, Rabbit and the occasional pigeon. I tend to stick to a pretty plain meat and veg type of diet, mind you if the opportunity arises scallops, crab, lobster etc if I can get them for free at work are ok.

I'll tell you how. Because lots of people in Scotland voted for them. Because SNP needed them.

Your cheap opinions on Harvie are of Sun-reader quality, and irrelevant. At least he believes in something and is willing to make a stand for the wellbeing of future generations, a refreshing contrast to the me,me, now attitude of most.

Cast your vote, spare us the crap. I think you've already made up your mind.

Lots of people voted for them did they 🤔? You might want to have a think about that, or care to quote the percentage ( 1.29% ring a bell)  . His views on the cass report and puberty blockers are utterly disgusting. The Greens have brought absolutely zero to the Scottish people other than waste hundreds of millions of taxpayers money primarily by being utterly incompetent. You are right in one respect, the SNP bought a majority by giving them made up pointless positions in government on cracking salary’s. Your bloody right ive made my mind up about him as have most of the decent people I know up here, him and the twisted tiny minority LGTBQIA  ideology he promotes. A sick  twisted individual by any stretch of the imagination. The crap they  pushed whilst in government is easy to see when your kids are fetching this rubbish back from school 15 year old  old girl by the way. https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/patrick-harvie-not-fit-government-32637027.amp

It has got something to do with the messaging of the press that people of different political viewpoints read though.

No it’s got everything to do with the screen grabs of the articles I posted

Or to put it another way “facts”

I suppose that depends which news (MSM) you read. Try bigging up Corbyn on a Faily Mail article, you'll find the same vilification there.

People on here tried to pigeon hole me as some kind of Citizen Smith character due to their perception of my views. Bless them.

I agree there are too many people coming over here in boats.

I'm not a fan of extremists, I'm not bothered which flag they shag.

Interesting to see how political affiliation influences our perception of things, perhaps it's down to the media we digest:

    YOUGOV.CO.UK

Islamic terrorism tops the list, although attitudes among Conservative and Labour voters differ significantly

    I’ll do the maths Mark

Got bugger all to do with political affiliations bud.

There has indeed been a lot of time and money put into pushing the extreme right wing threat narrative, there  have also been isolated incidents the most deadly with 3 fatalities dating back to 2000 if I recall correctly. Now factor that against the following and what would any impartial observer see as the biggest threat??.
Those prone to lying and making false statement’s would be as well not replying as far as I’m concerned.

Any meathead in any flag who has nefarious purposes. I'm not one to discriminate..

    Good 👍

Although I presume it’s that “ right  wing extremism “ the media pump out relentlessly that you are actually meaning.
Im looking for all those right wing terrorist arracks bombings, beheadings, stabbings etc etc in the UK Mark ??????? got any links or sources ?

Interesting to see the fact that even those media sources I’d see as left of centre are openly admitting its blatant two tier policing that was witnessed today.

It's possible to support Palestinians and be anti Hamas, in the same way it's possible to support the people of Israel but be against their Zionist government.

Meatheads draped in flags should be sent to Rwanda..

Including those draped in Palestinian flags I take it Mark

Because, whether you like it or not, English patriotism has been hijacked by racism.
I cannot explain why, there is possibly a link to England football fans, all I can say is it’s not the same in France.

Back in 2002 I (as an England fan) managed to convince the wife to holiday in Thailand (Koh Samui) during the World Cup, which just happened to be in a similar time zone to Korea/Japan.

We go to the big tourist pub to watch England v Argentina, packed with England fans and the atmosphere is very nasty and unpleasant, big tattooed bruisers hurling abuse and creating an unsafe environment, some Thai bloke on a moped was lucky to escape a hiding just by riding past the pub wearing an Argentina shirt.

Beckham penalty, England win, big sigh of relief.

2 nights before it’s Ireland against Germany, pub packed with Irish, singing and in good humour all night, despite Ireland losing till the last minute, when Robbie Keane gets a late equaliser, cue joyous pandemonium.

I didn’t feel unsafe for me or the wife the whole evening.

It opened my eyes a bit the contrast between the two nights.

I suspect the sort of ‘patriots’ in the pub for the England game are the same sort on that march.

I hear what people are saying about the Hamas march etc.

But let’s not paint the St George’s March as a real expression of English national pride.

As I said at the beginning of my post there’s good and bad everywhere. I still see double standards in regards the policing and reporting. When you realise that London cabs are not even allowed to fly it on one day a year you know things have gone the wrong way🤷‍♂️
It was my regimental day, so always a good laugh to be had back then and no stigma involved in displaying the flag.
Mick when it comes to football hooliganism English fans are amateurs nowadays.

    Happy St. George's day:

    NEWS.SKY.COM

The Metropolitan Police releases footage showing a group of men - some draped in St George's flags - clashing with officers in Whitehall.

If Corbyn had got in we'd have been able to charge double for the bank holiday.

Watched a lot of that today Mark and as always there’s good and bad but the double standards shown in regards policing this event and the restrictions placed upon it  compared to the numerous pro Palestinian/Hamas marches was blatant as is  the tone of the reporting. I’ve been around a few countries over the years and I’d struggle to name one where the national flag is held in such low esteem as it is here in England. London cab drivers can’t even display it today.
