  1. Not sure.

I am sure a NAO investigation (or similar) into which are genuine and reasonable installations and which are cash cows should be implemented to "fix" what appears to be a state sponsored scam in NI.

yep one farmer was forecasted to make a couple million from the scheme for heating an empty shed, the more you burn the ore you earn, eg for every pound you spent you got back, 1.60

  2. Just shows, merc were way ahead of anyone back in the day.

Introduced in 1978, the original Trantor was the first fast tractor. With a top speed of 60mph, it was equipped with full suspension, four-wheel braking and a three-seater cab.

    UNIMOG(post 1946), TRANTOR (1973) and the FASTRAC (1987),

  3. that stupid dpf exhaust really restricts vision out to the r/h rear of the machine remember don't let them idle for long periods of time keep them hot and they should be hassle free

i agree, hmm a crafty fellow might but a straight through exhaust and bypass it. put a blank on the return.

  4. Sorry just reread my post. Was meant more like, earn a wage when its 50+yrs old like these nice old machines. Or will electrics, computer etc get in the way (when they go wrong) for them not to be worth bothering with? I hope you get my drift as awfully explained.

well by then we can just remove all that emission crap, blank the return egr valve and turn it into a pre tier 6 emission standards, or just import them from brazil and mexico without all that crap in the first place:thumbup1:

  5. Hi all the tractors we use for firewood processing are vintage

    1948 field marshall series2

1956 ferguson t20 tvo driveing hycrack splitter

1958 massey 35 driving kisa super combi processor

1974 international 474 loader with grab and mcconnel rear forklift

1975 international 574 driveing rytec 2 metre 25 tonne splitter and towing trailers.

ALL the above tractor are easy to repair and parts are cheap and they do not go down in value.

    cheers chris
