  1. There is an organisation for beaters & pickers who have requests for help - http://www.nobs.org.uk/ Best bet is finding out what pubs the guys meet up after a shoot and asking there, just don't come across like an anti!
  2. I am running KL71's on a Discovery 3 and have found the side walls very soft compared to the previously fitted BFG MT as the walls are two ply rather than 3 ply as used in the STT's & BFG's. The car wallows much more and the shoulders of the tyres are wearing faster. D3 is a good bit heavier than a D2 though. Contrary to a previous post, I find them more noisy than the BFG's. You only have to look at the tread to see why, much more aggressive with big gaps between the cleats. Good self cleaning & traction in mud but cut through on sand. To me the KL71's are more mud focused, air down well but are less durable than BFG or Cooper MT tyres. They are directional too so if going for a spare tyre it will only match one side of he car.....
  3. Very nice, super video too!
  4. Been trying to get hold of a ladder with an I/H section but not been able to find any, they all seem to be box section to comply with a current standard.....😕 Ideally I'd like a new ladder if the H section is still available so I know they are straight rather than going for S/H. Has anybody got a link to a supplier of the type that can be used with these brackets? Cheers, Rich
  5. Is it ok to relocate Ash seedlings within the same property or are all movements restricted now?
  6. Pete, Was thinking the handle is bigger than it needs to be. Keeping the ratchet makes sense when you put it like that. Cheers, Richie
  7. Are you guys using a full length handle on your winches or cut them down? Also have you ditched the ratchet or is it useful for maintaining tension? Ta, Richie
