  7. Just looking into skills shortages in Sweden considering I might lose my right to work there due to the brexit shenanigans, and found that Skogsarbetare is in demand, which google translates as lumberjack..... Does anyone here know if being an arborist falls under the category of "Skogsarbetare" in Sweden? I was very keen to go work there after I've knocked out the last working hoilday visa available to me
  8. I have been painting my nails with rimmel 60 seconds funtime fuscia recently and they seem to flake off very quickly in this line of work I wondered if anyone could recommend a decent top coat or heavier duty nail varnish?
  9. I wanna migrate to new zealand and my favorite jobs have always been physical and outdoors. Now i am lucky enoigh to have found a job in canada and might forget about new zealand if it works out. It is on the same skills shortage list as doctors and engineers etc for NZ, Interesting ey Sent from my SM-G920F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. so happy to fly anywhere in canada to start work any time from August onwards
  11. 2 year work visa granted allready for canada. USA rejected me for even a tourist visa!
  12. Hello I am in the middle of working holiday visa application for Canada, should definitely go through, and I have flights booked to LA on 31st August, if I can find employment in California or a neighbouring state I would love to work there. Otherwise I will be taking a short holiday in America and then moving to Canada to work in British Columbia, again seeking tree work, on Vancouver island or Vancouver area. I will have 18 months experience with a firm called Wholetree in Gateshead, UK. I have climbing, aerial rescue, chainsaw maintenance and chainsaw up a tree certificates as well as straight distincion NTPC in Arboriculture. Experience working around the world in other manual jobs too. Would love to chat with anyone with any offers. Thanks
  13. Probably hit you up next year mate, in visa application stage now
  14. Hey thanks yeah I will do that, but I won't be applying for a few years and don't want to find out too late i'm not qualified enough so I'm trying to ensure I am prepared in time. I can contact a visa agency with this question too
  15. So for a person who already has used their working holiday it is possible to be sponsored for entrance of 4 years into Australia to work as a climbing arborist or supervisor. Some places I have read say 3 years experience is enough, another person I spoke to said you must be "fully qualified". Does anyone know, exactly what academic requirements are a MUST for entrance on a 457 visa to Aus? It is tricky to find exact details on visa pages from Aussy government. I currently have level 3 90 credit diploma and first four tickets. I am willing to do whatever it takes to become fully qualified but I would rather be working right now than going back to college in september. Thanks PS, anyone know the name of the equivalent visa in NZ?
  16. Didn't realize this is read only Contact email is: whiteelephantfilms1 (at) Gmail.com
  17. Coming towards the end of my college course, finishes June 20th and I am looking for at least a good 3 years solid employment in either Ceredigion, Glasgow, Newcastle/Northumberland (where I am from and currently based) or Bristol area. I have listed the various locations in the UK where I have good solid contacts and friends and would be happy to move to at the drop of a hat. By June/July I will have 6 months groundsman and climbing experience. I have 0020-03, 04 and 13 and will have chainsaw up a tree ticket as soon as I can get booked in, so well before June. I have a long background of traveling and working around the world (Australia, Norway, Japan, New Zealand) in mostly physical outdoor jobs. With a lot of experience in chainsaw use, I have trained in Tree Surgery to enable me to travel and work some more in Scandinavia and New Zealand, whilst in Norway the only unqualified job I could find was a salmon factory and I would rather be working in a profession I enjoy than packing fish! 26 years old, sensible, fit, strong and healthy non drinker/smoker, music hobbies and side business of music and record label. I won't last long working with people who like to talk about immigrant invasions or the so called threat of Islam, so need to have colleagues who have a source of information and conversation outside of murdochs news empire. I can provide CV and what I would expect to be stellar references on request. I have a place to stay in the areas listed too and would be willing to travel up for a week or two to do a paid trial. I do not know if this is a good way or the best way to find work, but you never know! I will also be contacting employers directly in said areas. Thank you Thank you for your time
  18. what level qualifications did you have? I am doing the level 3 90 credit arboriculture and forestry course at kirkley hall, and I can do the second year too, or a foundation degree next year. Then after that I will do two years post qual experience and fly over
  19. a member of the opposite sex ha ha, well as it stands now, she is coming with and if she doesnt like it i aint leaving.. so see what happens there you can get a second working holiday visa through bunac until 35 and if you are fully qualified age isnt really an issue unless you are over a much higher age 50/65 maybe - for skilled migration thanks
  20. I'm actually starting training tin a month, and will be qualified for the visa in 4 years (2 year qual and 2 years of post qual exp) for the sole reason of being able to migrate but I wondered if any business owners or arborists in NZ had a clue on how long the skills shortage will last, it would be a hilariously dark twist of comedy fate if they took it away while i was working towards it!
