  1. Hi. Sorry I hadn't checked this for a while. Send me an email if you could. Bit about yourself... [email protected] Cheers. Josh
  2. I'm looking for a self employed groundy a couple of days a week. Sometimes more. I'm based near hingham in Norfolk.
  3. Is there a way to gauge belt Tension is correct without a proper gauge. I have one but it's crap so ordered another but until that arrives I want to tension the belts as near to correct as possible. The chipper isn't chipping big wood very well so I'm guessing the belts are not the right tension. Cheers
  4. Groundsman needed beginning of next year. Couple of days a week. Need to have all relevant tickets and ppe and a ground saw. Message me for details
  5. You would think. It's really hard to find someone.
  6. Looking for subcontractors for Norfolk. I'm a one man band based in Wymondham. Mainly groundsman work but would need aerial rescue ticket. Just want someone to turn up on time and not use their phone all day ?
  7. To be honest I didn't check. I just knew that the rayco sjr use that engine and ignition
  8. The wires coming off the engine are. Green, purple, red, blue, yellow and white. The ignition has tabs labled- M, A, R, B, S and G. The ignition switch is for a rayco stump grinder. Just trying to find what colour wire goes where. I also put the - from battery onto the engine mount bolt and the + onto the starter solenoid. Is that right?
  9. I'm going there later today so will take some. Thanks for the help.
  10. Yeah kind of. I've got the loom coming off the engine 5 or 6 wires? I bought a kohler key ignition for it and was going to just use the solenoid thing (I think that's what it is) off the old engine
  11. Step by step of how to wire it up really. As I say I haven't got a clue
  12. I've fitted a kohler command to my old vermeer 186 stump grinder. Now just need to wire it up. I'm hopeless with wiring. Any help would be great
  13. I'm converting my ford ranger into a tipper. ive found a good ram and pump (picture on the left) but i cant find the brackets for the ram anywhere. the bloke i work for has a tipper and the brackets have grease nipples which would be handy. i'm guessing this ram sits in a kind of cup with arms then these arms go into 2x brackets like the pic on the right. any help with where to get all the brackets would be great.
  14. Looking for first chipper. Timberwolf 125 or 150 or small jensen. If you know of anything let me know. Cheers.
  15. Cheers for the advice, will get in touch with them.
