  2. I'll try it tomorrow and see which one annoys her the most. Think it will be the router like you say as it does scream.
  3. Hi All Getting in grief from the other half and the neighbours due to noise from man cave. What do you guys do to soundproof your workshops? I'm not using massive machines etc, just a router, sander, drill (normal hand held tools). I've seen some deadening material but costs a fortune. Any help greatly appreciated (especially if its not gonna cost a fortune and keeps me out of the bad books)
  4. Wish I had the minerals to do this. Thought of hanging 100ft in the air though is enough to get me feeling dizzy. Never mind doing it. Good to see how you do it though
  5. I bet it does. Once sanded and oiled up I bet it will look gorgeous though.
  6. Now that's a good looking table. Would love something like that but not now I'm married. The amount of time I move the existing furniture for her this would kill me lol
  7. First time I'm seen what a stump grinder can do. Was well impressed. Thought they would have put you the other side near the old mill set up. The boy soon got over it dragging me to see the chickens (4 times)
  8. Seen you (Gray git) at the Reeth show. Wanted to see you using the mill but had my little un with me and he panicked when the chipper started up lol. Wouldn't let me come over again without screaming lol
  9. WOW. Where do you get that from?
  10. I think ill just one of the boards as a practise and see what works best for me. I can see if they do get tighter as it dries and figure out how to aim off for it. Every days a school day
  11. lol I didn't pick the best title then
  12. Whats the best way to make the inserts? Have you rounded them off with a belt sander?
  13. Lol already using those Think I'm drying out to quick too never mind the wood
  14. I'm just after stopping the boards from splitting. At the moment I have around 4 boards that have split about 4-5" The boards haven't been cut for long so are still high in moisture
  15. Firstly that table looks great. Do you use them before the timber is fully dry or wait?
