1. Well gents what can I say..........it actually went OK. Bum hole was 50p 5p a couple of times but apart from a few scratches on my arms where I broke twigs rather than cutting, I am still alive and including some photos. Oh forgot to say , 2 thirds was overhanging neighbours bloody garden. Good tip about advertising fire wood, they collected that day. Sorry gents tried downloading pics but no luck
2.
Faslane at the mo but back in Pompey in June thank god

3. Done my training at TKF over 4 weeks and been working with local company. Ladder is up against tree to show the size of the job. Have my climbing tickets and own equipment so got to give it a go or I will never know.
4. Matelot fully agree with you. Ex RN?
5. 54gka has to come down as a shed is being built at bottom of garden.
6.
Curious where you based? Thanks Dave

7. Anyone know of any MEWP operator providers within the Portsmouth/Hampshire area.
8. Well this weekend I have my first job. Luckily it's my sister that requires a small walnut tree and a eucalyptus tree felling. I've added some photos for any advice that everyone is willing to give. The walnut tree looks pretty basic but the eucalyptus splits in two. I was going to treat it as two separate trees working from the ground up on each. It's a lot of free fall but may need to lower the crowns.
