  4. Katie @ Fox Medics is very good i hear. She is up in Nottinghamshire but will travel to give courses i believe. She is a qualified and practicing Paramedic and having met her at the APF i will be looking to her to update my first aid training in due course. She is a member on here and i think others have already had training from her. I will look out her number so pm if you need it. Hope this helps.
  5. Hi Paul. I could maybe help with the Birkenhead job, as I am t`other end of the Wirral. Will give you a call Monday sometime.
  6. Hi Pipmac. PM sent to you.

  9. It is a good job my boss thinks i`m a top bloke then! (Self-Employed ) Seriously though, Appreciate that take on it, thanks.
  10. Can`t see any dates or time limits on the blue form, other than the written dates of the Assesments. It does say on the form only to be used as your first application for a `Certificate of Competence`, but not when.
  11. I was interested to see this come up, as i am in a similar situation from 1993. I did contact NPTC last year and they were not interested as they had no record on file. However I do still have the signed assesment proof that i did the training (although it is not a `certificate`) and could get verification from the Farm Manager where i did the training that it took place there. Having said that methods of best practice change and as has been pointed out refresher training maybe useful, especially if a chainsaw is not being used regularly, and depending on works needs. Just my take on it.
