  1. Only just seen this as well. I'm potentially interested if Al doesn't take it. Need to see if my mate is available with his trailer. Be for my own use. I've got a pile of eucalyptus already so more interested in any/all of the others depending how much there is. Mark
  2. Thanks all Outside its going, open to sides, off the floor, just the top covered to keep worst of rain off and be careful not to breath too many spores. All noted, will move in next few days. Otherwise sounds like there are no real dramas, thanks again Mark
  3. Hi all I'm new to collecting and splitting my own firewood (in fact I don't even have a woodburner yet, thats coming soon but I've started collecting wood in anticipation). A few months ago I split some oak rings and put them in a spare shed. I now realise this was a mistake and they need to be outside. The wood I've split since is outside. However the stuff in the shed has started to grow mould, mainly white whispy stuff but a bit of green stuff as well. My pics show probably the worse stuff. I guess I need to stack it outside. Will it then likely stop growing and will it likely spread to other wood I already have stacked outdoors? Any other issues with it I should be aware of. As I said, new to this so I might not be aware of the obvious. Thanks Mark
  4. Hi Im new to the forum. I've joined as I see from time to time there are people looking to offload smaller amounts of wood. I'm in the process of buying a woodburner for the new house I've moved into and am already planning for the future and wanting to stock up. I'd like to get in logs I can cut, split and season myself. Partly for the "fun" and of course to save money. So if you want a small amount taking away let me know. Estate car or can borrow friends van with notice. I live outside Dorking and work in Redhill. Mark
