Pictures of what is now left and the access. I set up to mill it but stopped because having milled the rest I don't now have storage space for this. Plus the fact that it is too heavy for my to get out without cutting smaller which I would like to avoid if somebody is interested. -

Update on this: I've milled what I can but there is a section 2.5m long left. It's 1m wide at bottom and 1.2m wide at the top but that includes a split. I will need it collected by end of next week (30th). Message me if you are interested. -
If you are interested I can send more pictures. Diameter at base a touch over a meter. Stem splits at 2.4m. If I don’t have a response today I’ll have a go at it myself. You can reach in from the road with a hiab or roll it with mechanical assistance down ramps onto trailer. The tree is above the road. Feel free to text me on 07432290359

Groundy or Climber and kit available North Wales/Shropshire. I'm based outside of Oswestry. CS30,31,38,39 and first aid at work. 3 years experience in full range of tree work and horticultural industry before that. I'm available freelance with ppe or can contract with van/4x4, comprehensive rigging kit, saws, 6' Jensen chipper and Predator 460 grinder. I'm running my own small company but could use the odd freelance day(s). CS30,31,38,39. B+E, and first aid. Can come just with PPE climbing kit and basic saws or with tipper, chipper (Jensen a530), good rigging kit, stump grinder (Predator 460). Happy to climb or work on ground as a groundie able to think. Am also able to sub out as a 2 or 3 man team. General mindset is that of a hard worker (farm background) but much rather do a nice job slowly and safely than rush to bring in big bucks and leave a trail of devastation! I'm planning on relocating my business from Surrey up to Shropshire. I've previously used yard space on my parent's farm. Does anybody have any tips/help/advice about finding yard space up in Shropshire? In the ideal world I would have secure storage for chipper and tools, a place to have a little fire, and somewhere to do logs. If farmers are the best bet how do you get hold of them? Just turn up and knock on the door?? Cheers in advance.

Hi all, I'm mainly a subby climber myself but have started taking on my own work and consequently am looking for somebody to work with me. Ideally I'd like a climber but I'm flexible. I'm based near Woking and will be happy to collect somebody from West Byfleet station if you don't have your own transport. Climber needs to have CS30,31,38,39. Groundie needs CS30,31,38. Way more important to me than how fast you climb or how cool you think you are is wether you are reliable (I have no time for people who don't turn up and then don't answer their phones), hardworking, polite, punctual, and care more about doing the job well and safely than quickly. I'd like to find somebody who I can work with regularly which is likely to start off as about a day a week and likely become two days a week fairly quickly. Thanks guys, really helpful yet again. I went and looked at it today and found that contrary to what he had told me it had no stress control (Vermeer tell me the earlier ones weren't fitted with it) and no safety bar. It wasn't in great condition either so I left it. The search goes on...!

Cheers guys, very helpful. Am I right in assuming that the 24hp diesel fitted isn't an original engine? Weren't these originally fitted with petrols? Does anybody have recommendations of where I should go for parts? Thanks again!
