I just get told when am at the yard the go to the job and get told niht before to be at the yard everyday and a just provied climbing kit and saw and ppe thats it as a dont drive yet and everyone ells is the same as me but only have 2 people on the books and a dont get any profit just tips if a get them and only get my day rate.

I hold NPTC tickets cs 30 31 38 39 and the contract was to say i will be working with them and for insurence and to know what is exspected of me ie that a will do diffrent jobs with in the compiny and help out doing diffrent tasks and to say they give me the equipment a need for the job.

Hi am a sub contractor for a compiny that dose tree work and am a climber have 3 years exsperince now a have my own kit ie climbing kit and top handle saw own ppe and my qustion is this i am on day rate with them at £80 per day i have to be at the yard for 7am and stop at 4.30pm but sometimes i am not getting back to the yard till half 5 or evan 6pm what would be my day rate as i am not good with price per day? Cheers

av used the petzl harness before and just hated it and could not get it conftible fit for me then when s got my own harness it was the tree motaion harnnes light and never looked back good support for me can cumstom it for diffrent loops and attachment points and the back ring supports the saw better and well balinsed with saw attached most time a use the lower d rings when on dismantles and my climbing line on the top ds it feels more safe and easyer to spike down and the parts are easy to get and replace u can buy more bungie cord and plastic tubeing to add more loops whare u want and can add them on the leg loops witch i find is help full for cliping caribenas that u dont need for a bit. so my opinane is go for the tree motaion s light

I have my cross cutting and maintenance, small tree felling climbeing and recuse and aerial cutting also have my cscs card . I have experince doing dismantle, rigging, crown thinning and puring.
