  1. Ideal, like the look of the sugi bar, worth the extra cash? Glad I'm not the only one who likes a shiny new bar, just used to it looking new for atleast five min : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. New to husky, and have always stuck with stihl bars on stihl. But not impressed with husky bars, I know it's just aesthetic, but why can't they get some decent paint : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Ideal, will have a look. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Does anyone know of a loler course in the devon/ Somerset area? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Hi, currently using a hitch climber with vt, was thinking of going to the art positioner, but just got offered a virtually new spider jack 2.1 for £100. Just wondering if any one has used the sj for a side strop? Not sure how well it would work as my mainline lockjack is not to great without a cambium saver, or if the rope is coming back to it at a obtuse angle. Any advice much appreciated, cheers
  6. Hi, I use my pantin under my lockjack on drt for long pulls especially when putting my line in from the ground. It works great and saves a lot of effort ( as far as I'm concerned I'm up for making everything as easy and efficient as possible, just makes sense to me, why struggle when u don't have to) The only problem I find, especially when away from the main stem is controlling body position and stopping spinning. Does any one have any ideas on set up without going over to srt? ( I want to be ready to work ASAP and don't want to get all the way up, switch to drt, and come down to cut something I've passed on the way up) Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers
