I got a merino "cycling top" from lidl a few yrs ago its really good, is the same design as the first item was £20 wish id bought 10 of them.
I don't wear it often as don't want it to get wrecked as its so nice to wear and a new version or eqivalent item isn't cheap.
I see the top is machine wash which is good as some wool & wool blend stuff is hand wash etc which is a pita.
Alot of quality workwear is fashion brand prices which is a shame.
Price now often now not anymore being a good indicator of quality.
My favourite jacket I have is a javlin type fibre pile jacket of a type no one makes anymore from the now defunct welsh company Brennig. You rang them up and they would custom make a jacket to your personnal measurements for a reasoanable price....
They also used to kit out polar explorers...& out door pursuit centres
