  1. Did you happen to post a pic on climbers online Facebook page a hour or so ago... Just seems a coincidence, I'm also guessing that's the lad in question, just enquiring
  2. My zigzag mk2 has cracked and has been sent off too petzel.... Never abused it or anything.. Bloody thing just gonna stick with the hitchclimber set up
  3. Hey mate what chip is it? I live thatcham and my mrs yard might have the lot and it's only in thatcham... Would be free to dump as well let me know, I might have a farmer as well who might be interested
  4. You need a C1 license if it has a trailer over 750kg a C1E in old money it's a class 3 license
  5. There is nothing quite like gaffing your climbing line, done it once now I do what you do with running it through a Krab! Nice work though chap
  6. Easy standard planting with no beating through concrete probably about 250-300
  7. It's just a load of crap for me to deal with, I am going to go down the small claims court line if I have to. I am not going to walk away with nothing if I can help it Oh and I really appreciate your help on this matter guys it really is a learning curve!
  8. I also do have clearly in the message sent and I quote "this quote is for the FRONT garden only" which is also in caps lock!
  9. The thing is its a bit regardless of the price if it's £5 or £5000 it's the point that I do a full detailed quote (more so then normal) if they didn't like the price they wouldn't have to accepted the work in the first place. People don't think of what's involved in pricing I know for a fact I'm not the cheapest around but our work is always completed to a very high standard and we have all the licences, insurances, equipment etc etc you all know the score If I did ask her she would probably say £20 or something stupid might be worth a laugh though!
  10. I'm not actually going to dump anything there it's not worth my time. The thing that really really winds me up is the fact that they are saying I was not there long.. It's a pointless argument if you paid 3 grand for a kitchen and it took 1 day to fit would you not pay as it took 1 day even though the job is to spec.
  11. No signature sadly, even if she did for it to hold legally I believe it needs a impartial witness to sign as well, just going to have to write off, was going towards sign writing for the truck as well... Oh well working Sunday it is!
  12. Exactly what my old man said, just winds me right up need to vent it somewhere
  13. Alright guys, il cut straight to the chase I was at a customers property today doing some hedge cutting on a few shrubs just a general tidy up and spraying some weeds on the driveway. Now then the problem, obviously prior too work starting I viewed the job and supplied a written quote via email, which I have a copy and stating that I would only cut the front hedge and not do work round the back (for time reasons etc) and to spray the weeds around the front. Now then the person in question is Asian of some description I think Thai (unsure) and speaks ok English, now then I put the quote in clear terms highlighting more then once that I would only be doing the front. Anyway I complete the job to spec cleared away all the trimmings and sprayed off the weeds, but is now refusing to pay the invoice as apparently I was only there a hour or so (which is regardless as I quoted for the job not hourly or day rate) and the job was quite out of my way. Now then where do I stand with getting them to pay up, I have had my business partner see the completed work and he agrees it's completed properly (they aren't saying the works bad or anything that's the thing..). I'm sure I don't have a legal leg to stand on... It's not masses of money but it's nt the point, also they are trying to cause me of taking advantage of a foreigner... I have no problem with anyone and the price would be same if they were English... Sorry for the wall of text, I've only been in business for 6 months and this is the first and properly not the last of this nature, as we have a good reputation... Cheers for your views. Jamie
  14. I have the 755 21inch and it's brilliant.., weighs a blinking ton though! Cuts quickly, looks good and you can have a mulching deck for it which is very useful.
