Been let down for an upcoming job, so looking for a subbie climber and a grounds man for Friday 11th to 14th September. Hi guys I have to replace a like for like tree I removed on a job site. Tree had to come down due to bad rot. There is was honey fungus on the tree( thanks arb talk fungus guys for the info). Later confirmed by the local tree officer that several trees had the fungus. The new tree has to be placed next to the old tree or atleast the old trees root plate, so is there anything I can do to stop the new trees roots been hit with the fungus. There's nowhere else I can put the tree as the neighbours have got onto the council about the tree been replaced. Any help would be great as I don't know much about fungus . Thanks

It's just the 1 clump but the root on 1/4 of the plate is rotted

Could you name this fungus. It's at the base of a old line tree , the root plate is damaged with rot so could do with info on the fungus.

Turned out they did not check if the trees where tpo and were just going to start digging. Works been put to a holt until the app goes through. Thanks for the feed back and all the info you guys have given.

That's great I am sure the trees are owned my the company as they own the building and land. I have let them know and they are checking with the Tarmac guys to see if they have put a app in.

That's great guys ty for the info and we may have just saved 5 large horse chestnuts and the company a fine. Plus I am down to climb the trees in the next 3 month.

Hi guys, I am not up on all aspects of tree law so any info would be great. I have put in a app to carry out tree work on group of tpo trees and waiting to hear back, this part is fine - but I have just been made aware that car park under the trees is been re-tarmac. They have plans to remove some of the roots that are pushing through the old Tarmac and I don't know if they will have needed to apply to do this. My issue is that the trees are big and the root on 1 side hits a wall after a very short distance, so the roots on the car park is the main anchor point.

Hi all just wanting to know if any of you guys have ever had a van from or heard anything about Cheshire van sales. I am looking for my next van but there is so much guff out there so any good van sales or van sites info would be great. Based in mid lands but if it's worth traveling for its got to be done.

Hi guys , as I don't have a yard to practice in I am looking at practicing at home but noise is a issue. Electric saw would help with this but not sure if this will work well. So have any of you guys info on getting the best results out of a electric saw and best saw to get
