Hello mate...Just wondered if you could tell me a bit about your Plasma rope experiences.

Im planning on getting a winch and was thinking about trying a Plasma rope out....simply because I will be working a fair amount of steap ground and if I can make it easier dragging a rope up hill I obviously will.

Im just concerned about its strentgh and durability....

Anyway...sorry to just PM you out of the blue...Just wondered.

Thank you

Thanks mate for the reply.....The 576 was the saw I was thinking about as the 560 is probably good enough for what I want from it.

I know you said you havent done a 576 before but could you give me a ball park figure for the job of porting and muffler?

The saw is my own saw and only used by myself...also I have just ordered a heavy duty (large) air filter and the housing to maybe help a little ? do you think that will make much of a difference?

Whats involved with opening up the muffler ?

Sorry for so many questions...but after seeing a 365xp ported on youtube...I got all excited lol

Thanks for the advice so far

Hello mate. Just looking into porting now....I have a 576xp autotune and a 560xp autotune....can these be ported? what are the benefits exactly ? I am full time forestry cutter....I have just ordered the large heavy duty air filter and top housing case to accommodate it.

I dont want to ruin the lifespan on my saws but would like the extra grunt etc etc...please advise.

Im in Devon by the way...cheers
