  1. All sorted now. Three positions have now appeared and screw was stiff at extreme setting and it now has three positive clicks. Cuts like a good un. What a great little saw. Tired of the plastic on Stihls. Taff
  2. Many thanks all. Just gonna run it flat and see how the oil lasts against a full tank.
  3. Just in from Husky Technical. Further to your recent communication. We can confirm that the full travel of the oil adjustment screw is a 1/4 turn. This gives the 3 settings - low, medium and high. We trust this information is of assistance.
  4. Lister Wilder Cirencester £504 inc vat Just bought one.
  5. Any chance you can give me some position details as per a clock face for the settings in yours. I went through their professional models and all had three settings. Will just hand it back if no joy or maybe just being fussy.
  6. Took it back today. Compared to three others on display and a 560 and they all had only two positions of adjustment . Maybe a change on the new models? Baffled so just going to run it.
  7. Managed to get a weeks course at Cirencester RAU just before Easter and take a holiday in Feb with the missus. Works all round. Many thanks Andy
  8. Well started and ran it with the stihl chain oil and it was over oiling like a good in. Cannot turn it down past 11 o clock. So interested if anyone else has any variance on theirs with this screw setting. We have one with 9-3 o clock movement ( many thanks Stubby) any other variations or similarities with mine. Andy
  9. That would make sense and follow small pictograms next to the access hole. Will get supplier to have a look rather than force the screw past 11. Many thanks Andy
  10. Just bought a new one and the oil flow adjuster moves no more than 9-11 o clock as you turn the screw. Is this normal? For a good range of adjustment I would have thought it would have more rotary travel than this. Stihl chain oil also ok to run through this saw? Was told that I have to stick to XP for the pre mixing for warranty period but happy to put stihl oil through it for bar and chain. Andy:confused1:
  11. Not for me as not a cs30/31 but the next one for felling over 380mm. Shame as looks a great venue. Need to start with the 30/31 so it will be the RAU at Cirencester on the 17 /4 week for me. Cannot wait as just picked up a new 550 Xp
  12. Thanks for the info folks but I have to stick to week beginning 17 February due to current employment and I have that week off work only until April.
  13. Are there any courses running for the week beginning 17 Feb 2014 with assessment straight after? Have to fit this in with holidays so looking for any courses in Wales, S wales, S of England, S West, Midlands and even S East . Willing to travel and have all own kit. Taff
