  1. Anyone ever modified a plant trailer to allow them to use the chipper whilst still on the trailer? Or a custom made trailer on little wheels?
  2. The front suspension is height adjustable if this might help. I've just replaced the front spring on my 35c15 as it was sat really low on the front. Turns out it was so low as the rubber mounts it sits on were knackered. What is your wheel arch clearance like?
  3. http://www.rccm.uk/index.html. Looks legit
  4. Ok cheers guys think I'll take your advice and stick with the old Jensen for now 👍
  5. It is the one pictured Ive been considering. It ended on eBay afew weeks ago and I messaged him to see if it was still available. He says yes, ended on eBay for £2650 he says he'll take £2500..... sounds too good to be true that's why I was wondering if they're shite! I have a Jensen 518 now, it's my first chipper and doing me well so far, was just thinking of trading to something a bit better.
  6. As above, what do people think to these chippers, been offered a 2010 190 with 850 hours on for what I think is a very cheap price. But it ain't cheap if they're no good!
  7. I've been toying with the idea but the fact that I can't find anyone that's done one makes me think it's a bad idea? Any pics/ advise greatly appreciated
  8. Has nobody ever turned a 80 or 100 series landcruiser into a pickup instead of importing a 70 series??
  9. What's anyone's opinion on a ranger double cab tipper conversion? Been on the lookout for a King cab but they seem to be hard to find.
  10. I've got a 57 ranger wildtrak 3.0 and had it remapped, it's better on fuel if you drive steady allthough the temptation to test out all that bhp causes the mpg to drop dramatically! The worst bit about the map is the clutch, it can't handle it, when towing anything more than an empty trailer the clutch likes to slip under heavy acceleration. Hope the new ones have a real clutch and not one made of cheese
  11. It's http://www.tyreleader.co.uk sorry
  12. Try http://www.tyreleader.com I got some hankook dynapros off there for £80 each for my ranger. They're seem pretty good
  13. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191423961496
  14. I worked for electricity north west they have a load of hilux's with these conversions. The first one we got leaked water into the tool box due to bad plastic welding. And they don't tip up far enough to get dense chip out without a bit of jerking. Other than that they're good! The team I was on had one transit tipper an now they've got 3 hilux tippers, I bet they can only carry as much chip on all 3 as on the transit :-)
